Join our team and help ensure the smooth running of examinations at Truro and Penwith College. We are looking for a reliable and conscientious individual to work as a Lead Exams Invigilator. In this role, you will support the Exams Officer by ensuring all exams are conducted in line with Awarding Body regulations and College procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the main exam hall with confidence.
- Oversee tasks and other invigilators in the hall.
- Supervise students during exams, maintaining a calm and compliant environment.
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials accurately.
- Complete attendance registers and display exam timings.
- Report any discrepancies or irregularities during exams.
- Attend annual training provided by the College.

- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence in making announcements to large numbers of students.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and follow strict procedures.
- Previous experience in education or exams is an advantage but not essential.
