We’re looking for a Bursary Administrator & Personal Support Advisor to join our Student Services team. About the role
This is a varied and impactful position where no two days are the same. You’ll combine accurate, detail-focused administrative work with direct support for students’ personal, financial, and wellbeing needs. Key aspects of the role include:
- Processing bursary applications and managing student financial support
- Maintaining and updating systems such as online financial support portals
- Liaising with finance to ensure timely payments
- Acting as a key point of contact for students on a drop-in and appointment basis
- Providing guidance, information, and signposting to appropriate services
- Supporting students across a wide range of issues including financial, personal, and safeguarding concerns
- Working with internal teams and external agencies to ensure joined-up support
- Supporting events, tutorials, and wider Student Services activity
- Contributing to audits, process improvements, and staff training
- Advising on policy updates and maintaining accurate administrative systems
