We’re looking for a hands-on, organised and enthusiastic Hair & Beauty Technician to join our team at Penwith Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting students as they develop their practical skills in a professional salon environment.

About the role

You’ll be an essential part of our Hair & Beauty provision, helping to create a professional, well-organised, and inspiring environment for learning. Your role will include:

  • Setting up and preparing salon equipment and learning materials for sessions
  • Maintaining and managing hair and beauty equipment, products, and stock
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the salon and reception area
  • Assisting with bookings and answering client enquiries for both Inspiration salons and Senara restaurant
  • Managing laundry and ensuring the salon is clean, safe, and professional at all times

About you

You’ll be practical, proactive, and enjoy working in a busy, people-focused environment. You will have:

  • A background in hairdressing or beauty therapy, ideally with some industry experience
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A practical, hands-on approach to work
  • Confidence working with staff, students, and clients
  • Good understanding of health & safety and salon practices
