HR Associate Truro Β£33,635 per annum 37 hours per week | Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives on supporting people, solving problems, and making a real difference in the workplace? We are looking for a proactive, organised and people-focused HR Associate to join our friendly and ambitious HR Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting colleagues across the College, helping us attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent while ensuring an excellent employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
  • Support employee relations matters, including absence, capability, disciplinary and grievance cases
  • Ensure HR systems and records are maintained accurately and efficiently
  • Contribute to staff wellbeing initiatives and employee engagement projects
  • Help shape and improve HR policies, processes and practices across the College.

About You

  • CIPD Level 5 Diploma in People Management
  • At least 3 years' experience in HR, recruitment, and employee relations
  • A strong understanding of employment law and HR compliance
  • Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
