This is a senior, high-profile leadership role with real influence. You will:

  • Lead and inspire a team of Industry Engagement Consultants and Apprenticeship Advisers
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with employers and key stakeholders
  • Drive apprenticeship recruitment, commercial income, externally funded projects, and mandatory work placements
  • Represent the College at regional events, employer forums, and sector networks
  • Use labour market insight to influence curriculum development and future provision
  • Lead a results-driven Industry Engagement team
  • Manage high-value employer relationships across priority sectors
  • Support apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps, commercial training, full-time students and T-Levels
  • Ensure excellent employer and learner experiences
  • Use CRM and data systems to track performance and impact
  • Work collaboratively across the College to deliver employer-led solutions

Requirements

  • Strong B2B commercial and partnership development experience
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver results
  • Confidence working at senior and board level
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Drive, ambition, and a passion for education, skills, and economic growth
  • Experience in apprenticeships, training, or education is desirable – but commercial leadership and employer engagement expertise are essential
