This is a senior, high-profile leadership role with real influence. You will:
- Lead and inspire a team of Industry Engagement Consultants and Apprenticeship Advisers
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with employers and key stakeholders
- Drive apprenticeship recruitment, commercial income, externally funded projects, and mandatory work placements
- Represent the College at regional events, employer forums, and sector networks
- Use labour market insight to influence curriculum development and future provision
- Lead a results-driven Industry Engagement team
- Manage high-value employer relationships across priority sectors
- Support apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps, commercial training, full-time students and T-Levels
- Ensure excellent employer and learner experiences
- Use CRM and data systems to track performance and impact
- Work collaboratively across the College to deliver employer-led solutions
Requirements
- Strong B2B commercial and partnership development experience
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver results
- Confidence working at senior and board level
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Drive, ambition, and a passion for education, skills, and economic growth
- Experience in apprenticeships, training, or education is desirable – but commercial leadership and employer engagement expertise are essential
