We’re looking for an experienced HR Associate with a strong recruitment and staffing focus to support our managers during a busy and exciting period for the College.
The Role
- This is a hands‑on, people-facing role where recruitment is front and centre.
- You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth, compliant and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.
- Managing end-to‑end recruitment, from vacancy approval to onboarding.
- Screening applications, coordinating shortlisting and interviews.
- Supporting managers to recruit efficiently, effectively and cost‑consciously.
- Issuing contracts, coordinating inductions and ensuring timely starts.
- Maintaining recruitment data, tracking activity and producing reports.
- Ensuring compliance with safer recruitment requirements and the Single Central Record.
What You’ll Bring
- We’re looking for someone who is CIPD Level 5 qualified.
- Experienced in recruitment, HR administration and employee relations.
- Confident managing multiple vacancies and priorities at pace.
- Highly organised, detail-focused and confident using HR systems.
- Knowledgeable in employment law and safer recruitment practices.
- Professional, approachable and comfortable advising managers.
- Experience in the FE or education sector is highly desirable, but not essential.
