Mullion School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join their successful Humanities team. We are a small school with students who love learning in the beautiful surroundings of the Lizard. Humanities lessons are popular in the school, delivered by a wonderful team of specialist teachers. The whole staff body are a friendly and supportive team.

The successful candidate will be a passionate practitioner with strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire curiosity about the world, environments and global issues. You will deliver high‐quality Geography lessons across the age and ability range, contributing to an engaging and ambitious curriculum.

The start date for this post is the 1st September 2026.

About The Role:

The successful candidate will bring an energy to students' learning and progress, delivering a challenging and inclusive Geography curriculum that builds knowledge, skills and curiosity. They will inspire students to think critically about places, people and the world around them. The successful candidate will contribute confidently to the delivery of a well‐sequenced Geography curriculum, supporting students to deepen understanding, apply key geographical concepts and achieve their potential.

The successful candidate must:
  • Be a qualified teacher (or an ECT) with a specialism in Geography
  • Have high expectations of learning, behaviour and achievement
  • Be passionate about Geography and able to communicate this enthusiasm to students
  • Be committed to inclusive teaching and raising achievement for all learners
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive department and wider school team
About You:
