Established in 2022 by experienced tech founders and entrepreneurs Hakan Koç and Pyrros Koussios, 1GLOBAL is a European technology leader driving digital transformation in the global telecommunications market. It operates as a fully regulated Mobile Virtual Network Operator (“MVNO”) in ten countries and as a regulated telecommunications operator in an additional 31 countries. Headquartered in the Netherlands, with world-class R&D hubs in Lisbon, Berlin, and São Paulo, 1GLOBAL employs over 450 experts across 15 countries.
The CEO Office at 1GLOBAL works directly with the two founders and senior leadership on the highest-impact priorities across the entire company. The team operates above functional lines and has visibility across every area — commercial, product, finance, operations, marketing, regulatory, and corporate development. It is a small, high-trust, high-calibre group where work moves fast, standards are high, and learning velocity is unmatched. Joining this team means being immersed in how a global tech company actually works, scales, and makes decisions. This role is designed for someone driven, and entrepreneurial at an early stage of their career. Your mission is to solve problems across the business, take ownership of critical projects, and support the CEO Office on strategic, commercial, and operational work. You will switch between high-level thinking and hands-on execution, producing work that is immediately usable with senior leadership, customers, and partners. You will be trusted with responsibility from day one and expected to deliver high quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver ad-hoc CEO Office projects such as high-stakes presentations, commercial and financial models, and market assessments for new markets.
- Support external work with tier‑1 partners: onboard special setups, manage non‑BAU requests, resolve complex customer issues, and contribute to commercial negotiations.
- Drive internal initiatives across finance, corporate topics, operational improvements, and product/strategy, depending on priority and your strengths.
- Take ownership of open-ended problems: define the approach, gather data, build the analysis, present recommendations, and execute.
- Deliver outputs at a standard that can be used directly with leadership, customers, or partners.
- Act as a thought partner within the CEO Office, bringing structured thinking, challenge, and new ideas rather than only execution.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and context-switch across multiple workstreams with tight deadlines.
Requirements
Must Have
- 1–3 years in demanding environments (MBB consulting, investment banking, startups, or as a founder).
- Exceptional academic background from a top university.
- Strong analytical ability with proven experience building financial models, presentations, or structured problem‑solving outputs.
- Very high attention to detail and ability to produce polished output under time pressure.
- Strong communication skills, including comfort engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- High autonomy, ownership, and critical thinking; able to challenge assumptions and propose better approaches.
- Ability to work in ambiguity, switch contexts quickly, and deliver reliably across multiple parallel workstreams.
Nice to Have
- Strong interest in understanding how companies scale and how commercial, product, financial, and operational decisions fit together.
- Experience in cross‑functional work or hands‑on involvement in side projects, student societies, entrepreneurial ventures, or competitions.
- Experience interacting with external stakeholders or customers in non‑standard situations.
- Proficiency with analytical, presentation, and modern productivity tools, (Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Python).
