Job Description
Freelance Digital Project Manager
We’re looking for an experienced freelance project manager to oversee the design and development of a website and app. Whilst this is not a full-time role, we have other projects running concurrently of a similar nature that require support. We would therefore like to speak to candidates who have capacity for between 2 and 5 days per week.
About the Role
As the project manager, you will coordinate the end-to-end delivery of the website and app, working closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. You’ll be responsible for timelines, budgets, communication, and keeping the project on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the project plan, timeline, and budget.
- Liaise between internal teams, designers, developers, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure milestones are met and deliverables align with project objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks to keep the project running smoothly.
- Maintain clear communication and reporting for all stakeholders.
- Manage testing, feedback loops, and deployment coordination.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing website and/or app development projects.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI, development processes, and digital workflows.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Experience working with agile and Kanban methodologies.
- Ability to problem-solve and keep projects on track.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple workstreams.
Additional Details
Location: Remote (Manchester/North-West based preferred)
Commitment: Flexible between 2 and 5 days per week
Duration: 5-6 months
Start Date: March 2025
