We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Senior SEO Consultant to support our award-winning Organic Search team on a contract basis. This role sits within our Performance Marketing team and will focus on leading and shaping SEO strategy for a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C clients.
This is a great opportunity for a senior SEO specialist who brings deep expertise across technical SEO, content, authority building and broader organic growth strategy.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and delivering comprehensive SEO strategies aligned to client goals.
- Conducting competitor analysis to identify opportunities and areas for growth.
- Monitoring performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, with a clear focus on KPIs and commercial outcomes.
- Analysing website health, traffic and conversion data to inform strategy and recommendations.
- Leading technical SEO audits and advising on improvements across site speed, mobile, structured data, crawlability and indexation.
- Supporting keyword research, on-page optimisation and CTR improvement work.
- Collaborating with copywriting, Digital PR, Content and Web Dev teams to improve search performance and user experience.
- Reporting on ROI, performance and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Contributing to new business opportunities and staying close to SEO trends, algorithm updates and AI developments.
What we’re looking for
- Proven senior-level SEO experience, ideally in an agency environment.
- A strong track record of delivering organic growth through strategic SEO.
- Strong knowledge across SEO tools, analytics platforms and data interpretation.
- Confidence working across technical SEO, content and authority-building strategies.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and add value quickly.
- Familiarity with LLMs and how content surfaces across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.
- Experience contributing to pitches or new business proposals would be a bonus.
