POSITION PURPOSE
The Teaching Professional is responsible for delivering high-quality coaching and custom fitting services in line with the standards of the Golf Academy at Trump Turnberry. Educates all students in the proper fundamentals of all aspects of the game.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Delivers individual lessons to members, hotel guests and visitors on all aspects of the game.
- Maintains accurate records of players' progress and lesson notes through the coach now app.
- Delivers structured junior coaching sessions and junior golf camps.
- Delivers beginner group coaching sessions.
- Ensures safeguarding standards and a safe learning environment are upheld.
- Delivers professional club fitting services using Trackman & SAM Puttlab.
- Assists with Trackman simulators and Trackman range set up and customer experience.
- Assists the academy staff with F&B operation when required in busy periods.
- Assists with marketing ideas to promote the Golf Academy and increase revenue.
- Helps to maintain general upkeep of the academy building, driving range, studios and end room.
- Assists in the development of qualified and assistant pros.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
- Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Golf Academy Manager.
- Contributes positively to the wider golf operations team.
- Engages in ongoing professional development through seminars and courses.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- Teaching and club-fitting experience at another high-end facility.
