Job Scope
Working closely with the Guest Services and Security teams and acting as the first and last point of contact for the guest arrival and departure at the Resort, the position of Resort Welcome Ambassador is an extremely important, challenging and rewarding role. The Resort Welcome Ambassador is based down at the Gatehouse and main entrance to the resort and is responsible for providing a warm friendly, indigenous and luxury welcome, welcoming and directing our guests to and from the Main entrances, assisting them with luggage and attending to all guest requests and enquiries.
Job Functions
- Greet and welcome guests on arrival at the main entrance of the Resort and direct them to their destination on property.
- Request reservation details from guests and cross-reference guests details against the Reservations Arrival Report.
- Radio to Front Office and/or Spa to inform them of the guest arrival, highlight the guest by name, car make/model & registration, adhering to all Track & Traces requirements.
- Take requests for Shuttles (transportation for guests within the resort) and action them.
- Advise guests on the local area (tourism or business locations, sites or events).
Candidate Specification
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- The successful candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, comfortable working on their own, outdoors and work as part of a team when required.
- The successful candidate should have an interest and be committed to providing 5-star luxury service at all times.
- Having a full driver's license is essential for this role.
- Valid 1st aid trained or be willing to undertake 1st aid training is essential.
- The successful candidate should be flexible to work days, evenings, overnight and weekends.
