To be responsible for the cleanliness and good order of public areas within the Hotel and to assist with the comfort and well being of guests during their stay. To perform any other duties as requested by the Housekeeper.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- To clean the public areas in the Hotel to the highest standard.
- To ensure that stocks of amenities are replenished in all Areas.
- To assist in other areas within the Department upon request.
- To be pleasant and courteous to guests and colleagues at all times.
- To report guest comments or complaints.
- To answer guests requests and resolve guest problems.
- To check in lost property immediately.
- To dispose of rubbish in the proper place.
- To carry out any other duties as required.
- To follow all safety guidelines for the Resort.
- To perform tasks ensuring SOPS and Risk Assessments are adhered to.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
- Ensure full liaison with other members of the team in Housekeeping and Linen Room.
- Strong communication with other departments.
- Strong relationship with guests and internal customers.
- Good communication with the Supervisors, Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Executive Housekeeper.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- Ability to communicate freely in the local language.
- Open and friendly with a desire to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- A team player, contributing positively to team performance.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
