Overview

The Assistant Night Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operation, safety, and guest experience of the hotel/resort during the night shift. Acting as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager, the role ensures seamless service delivery, operational efficiency, and security in line with brand and Luxury Five-Star standards.

Operational Leadership

  • Act as Manager on Duty overnight, taking full responsibility for hotel operations.
  • Assist the Night Operations Manager in managing all night departments including Front Desk, Security, Housekeeping, Night Porters and Drivers.
  • Coordinate and supervise Front of House operations to ensure efficient check-in/out and guest service.
  • Assign and monitor nightly tasks across operational and security teams.
  • Ensure all shift Checklists are completed appropriately and in a timely manner.

Guest Experience

  • Deliver personalized, high-level service to VIPs and late-night arrivals.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and service quality overnight.
  • Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and proactively engage with guests, including VIPs and regular guests.
