The Evening Housekeeping Assistant & Estate Cleaner is responsible for delivering turndown service in guest rooms, along with the day-to-day cleaning across the estate facilities including the Clubhouse, Dram in the Dunes, Heritage Retreat and Estate Offices. Supporting hotel management and working closely with the Resort Services team, this post is integral to the day-to-day operations of the resort and requires meticulous attention to detail and the highest standards of fineness and cleanliness.

This is a hands-on housekeeping role that operates between the hours of 5pm – 11pm, including weekends, in line with the seasonal needs of the business. Due to the scale of the resort, driving is essential for this role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Undertake daily housekeeping and site wide cleaning activities as directed by management
  • Support the Housekeeping Manager with laundry, amenities, supplies and equipment management
  • Ensure guest rooms and public areas are immaculate
  • Report any missing or damaged items, ensuring they are replaced and repaired
  • Comply with Health and Safety and COSHH regulations in line with company policies
  • Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks when required
  • Any activities deemed necessary to support smooth operation of the business
Qualifying Criteria
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Housekeeping experience, ideally in a four- or five-star environment
  • Meticulous eye for detail and demonstrable commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Excellent timing keeping and good organisational skills
  • Positive and flexible approach to work including weekend and evening shifts
  • Proactive with the ability to work with minimal supervision
