The principle function of the Resort Services team is to deliver 5-star services to MacLeod House & Lodge residents and guests throughout the duration of their stay. This is a hands-on role covering every area of the guest experience including reception, concierge, food and beverage, and housekeeping. Resort Services Assistant (Nights) supports the management team on the delivery of guest services and works closely with the wider operational teams including resort sales and bookings personnel. This role operates on a shift-based system, back to back with the Resort Service day team and includes weekend working in line with the seasonal needs of the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertake night preparation of facilities and services at MacLeod House & Lodge for the following day
- Deliver five-star guest arrival and departure experiences including check-in, check-out and porter duties
- Transportation of guests and golfers across the site
- Assist with the delivery of food & beverage service
- POS posting of room charges and folio management
- Support the Housekeeping functions when required
- Standards checks and general tidying including refreshing public areas and rest-rooms
- Night audit reports and systems update
- Security checks of the estate, locking up and checking alarms
- Any duties required by management to support the delivery of five-star guest services and experiences
Qualifying Criteria:
- Previous experience within the hospitality, hotel or leisure industry advantageous
- Experience of bookings systems advantageous
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and professional telephone manner
- Positive and flexible approach to work including weekend and evening shifts
- Full, clean driving licence
