Purpose of the Role

The Dental Nurse plays a key role in delivering high‑quality patient care across general and advanced dentistry. This position supports chairside procedures, maintains excellent clinical hygiene standards, prepares materials and equipment, and helps ensure efficient daily operations within a modern, digital clinical environment. Working closely with dentists, specialists, and the broader clinical team, the Dental Nurse contributes to a seamless patient journey and a supportive, well‑organized practice atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide chairside assistance during general dental treatments and selected advanced procedures.
  • Maintain clinical hygiene and uphold cross‑infection control protocols to the highest standards.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain materials, instruments, and digital systems for efficient workflow.
  • Support digital dentistry processes including scanning, treatment documentation, and patient coordination.
  • Collaborate with multiple clinicians, adapting to different styles and treatment plans.
  • Assist in onboarding and supporting new dental nurses or trainees.
  • Support flexible scheduling, including occasional evenings or Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

  • Qualified Dental Nurse certification required.
  • Overseas‑qualified dentists may apply.
  • Active GDC registration is mandatory.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical dental setting.
  • Experience in busy or multidisciplinary practices preferred.
  • Exposure to advanced treatments or implant workflows is a plus, but not essential.
