We’re looking for a detail-driven, technically strong Paraplanner to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex financial information into clear, client-focused advice and wants to play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes.
The Role
You’ll work closely with advisers, supporting the end-to-end advice process by producing high-quality reports, conducting in-depth research, and ensuring all recommendations meet regulatory standards. Your work will directly impact client outcomes, helping advisers deliver advice that is not only compliant, but genuinely valuable.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Client Advice & Reporting
- Draft clear, tailored Suitability Reports aligned to individual client needs
- Prepare Annual Review reports to support ongoing client relationships
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and easy to understand
- Research & Analysis
- Conduct detailed research across pensions, investments, protection, and tax-efficient solutions
- Analyse client portfolios for performance, risk, and alignment with objectives
- Provide data-driven insights to support adviser recommendations
- Technical & Financial Planning Support
- Build financial plans using cashflow modelling tools
- Support technical calculations (e.g. CGT, IHT, investment risk profiling)
- Break down tax implications and help identify the most appropriate client solutions
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all reports meet FCA requirements and internal standards
- Maintain accurate records of the advice process and client data
- Work closely with compliance to resolve issues and refine documentation
- Stay up to date with regulatory and legislative changes
- Systems & Process
- Keep client records and back-office systems fully up to date
- Use financial planning software effectively to support delivery and compliance
- Contribute to improving templates and processes
