As an Apprentice Dental Nurse in our Manchester clinic, you will support clinicians with daily patient care while learning the foundations of dental nursing. You will help prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, support patients, and maintain high clinical standards with guidance from our experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting dentists and clinicians during a variety of dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are fully equipped for patient appointments
Supporting patients throughout their visit and helping create a positive, comfortable experience
Maintaining high standards of infection control and cross‑contamination procedures
Sterilising and preparing instruments
Managing patient records and clinical documentation
Supporting the wider clinical team with daily operations
Learning and developing your clinical and professional skills through structured training and mentorship
What We're Looking For
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in dentistry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail
Professional, reliable, and organised approach to work
Ability to work well as part of a team
Commitment to providing outstanding patient care
Currently enrolled in a Dental Nursing course or recently completed relevant studies
Previous experience in a healthcare, customer service, hospitality, or care environment
Knowledge of dental practice procedures and infection control principles
