The Role
We’re looking for a qualified, GDC‑registered Dental Nurse to join the team at our Manchester clinic. You’ll work chairside alongside our dentists and specialists, keeping treatments running smoothly and making sure every patient feels genuinely looked after from the moment they sit down. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of the practice. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists and clinicians chairside throughout a full range of treatments
- Preparing the surgery and setting up instruments and materials ahead of each patient
- Keeping patients comfortable, informed and reassured, especially anyone who’s a little nervous
- Maintaining the highest standards of decontamination, sterilisation and infection prevention & control
- Handling accurate charting, clinical notes, and patient records
- Managing stock, ordering, and day‑to‑day surgery housekeeping
- Supporting the wider clinic team to keep the day running on time and stress‑free
What We're Looking For
- GDC registration as a Dental Nurse (essential)
- NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification
- A warm, reassuring manner and excellent communication with patients and colleagues
- Sound knowledge of decontamination and infection‑control protocols
- Great attention to detail, reliability, and a genuine team‑player attitude
- Right to work in Ireland or the UK
Nice to have
- Experience with implant, sedation, orthodontic or other specialist treatments
- Post‑registration qualifications (e.g. radiography, impression‑taking, oral health education)
- Familiarity with digital dentistry and practice‑management software
- Previous experience in a busy multi‑surgery or private practice
