Our specially trained staff works hand‑in‑hand with physicians to provide the right products and dosage to ensure patients receive compassionate care.

Position Summary

The Dispensary Associate is responsible for guiding a customer on their journey into cannabis by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects. In this role you will need to be knowledgeable enough to speak to customers about various products and their effects while providing excellent customer service. The primary function is to facilitate a customer’s purchase per state regulations while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
  • Show empathy and compassion to patients.
  • Deliver the TruExperience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
  • Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
  • Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist customers with any product or device issues.
  • Work with leadership and management to find solutions to customer issues.
  • Document customer issues and concerns on the customer\’s profile.
  • Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift.
  • Complete any other tasks as assigned by Management. Employees may be required to perform additional team tasks on an as‑needed basis.

Additional Responsibilities – Delivery Associate (As Needed)

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clear driving record to fulfill the delivery driver role.
  • Follow all Trulieve policies and procedures as a delivery associate.

Additional Responsibilities – Online Support

  • Assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2‑hour timeframe.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High‑school diploma or equivalent and experience in a similar field.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV).
  • Prior experience, preferably in retail or customer service.
  • Prior cash handling experience required.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with varied personalities.
  • Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work effectively without supervision and within a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism; maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to understand and follow written or oral instructions.
  • Respectful and polite interaction with customers and team members.
  • Conversational English; operate electronic equipment (computer, laptop); comprehend safety procedures; utilize telecommunication devices.
  • Mental and physical capacities to perform job duties.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for delivery duties.
  • Pass a comprehensive background record check.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday and use prosthetics, if needed, to meet sensory and functional requirements.
  • Must function independently with flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or hostile individuals.

Physical Requirements

  • Constantly move/traverse the entire facility, including confined spaces; communicate and exchange sensitive information.
  • Frequently manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights up to 50 lbs; push/pull, lift, carry, and maneuver at floor level.
  • Occasionally remain seated.

Work Schedule

  • Flexible hours depending on store needs; must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • The position averages 20 hours per week with availability after hours based on business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $15.00 an hour (position also eligible for tips). Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is offered.
