The Role

As a Paraplanner, you'll play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by providing high-quality research, technical analysis, and suitability reports. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive research on financial products and investments
  • Preparing bespoke investment and financial planning reports
  • Analysing existing portfolios against suitable benchmarks
  • Producing complex financial planning recommendations
  • Assisting with pension and investment transfer analysis
  • Keeping up to date with technical, legislative and regulatory developments
  • Supporting trainee paraplanners and sharing technical knowledge
  • Contributing to research projects and meeting agreed service levels

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • Previous Paraplanning experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment
  • Strong financial planning and technical knowledge
  • Excellent report-writing skills
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong written, numerical and analytical skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
