TrueNorth have been retained by a rapidly growing SAAS organisation who, after significant growth and investment, are looking for their first in-house Head of Engineering / Tech Lead. You will report to the CEO and own Engineering for the organisation through their next phase of growth.
The successful candidate will be from a hands-on background and still be close enough to tech to know what good looks like and challenge the current way of thinking and engineering. You will also own architecture, the engineering roadmap, quality, and be responsible for the growth of the in-house engineering team.
This role is perfect for someone that thrives in the ambiguity of a fast-growing scale-up organisation.
Current tech stack is: Ruby, PostgresSQL, AWS, CI/CD, and Vue.JS (you'll also need to know enough about mobile to oversee native development in Swift and Kotlin). In addition, it's important you've worked with payment platforms before, e.g., Stripe or others.
The role is based from their brand new Soho offices in London and is hybrid working 3 days per week in London. We have a base of circa £150k plus bonus and a long-term incentive programme for the role (heavily dependent on experience).
