We’re hiring an IT Support Lead & Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing, international organisation in Financial Services, with a strong focus on service quality, resilience, and modern IT practices.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on technically, but also wants responsibility for overseeing IT support operations and being a visible, trusted presence for users.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and supervising IT support delivery for the London office and wider EMEA/APAC users
- Acting as the main escalation point for high-impact and VIP issues
- Overseeing ticket quality, prioritisation, trends and service performance
- Owning office IT, hardware procurement, vendors, licensing, and AV systems
- Working closely with senior engineers on infrastructure and security initiatives
- Getting involved in projects such as office moves, ITSM improvements, automation, and Zero Trust adoption
What we’re looking for:
Technical:
- Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows end-user environments and core Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune)
- Practical experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, including identity, access, and device management
- Solid understanding of Windows Server environments
- Good grounding in networking fundamentals, including switches, wireless networks, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Experience working with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
- Exposure to managing and supporting enterprise video conferencing and AV systems
- Familiarity with ITIL-aligned service management and modern ITSM tools
- Experience using RMM tools and working within structured project delivery frameworks
Other:
- Experience overseeing or supervising support teams (not heavy people management)
- Strong customer service mindset with confidence handling urgent, business-critical issues
- Comfortable working in corporate, high-availability environments (financial services experience highly desirable)
- Calm, collaborative, and approachable — someone who leads by example
Why this role:
- Clear exposure to infrastructure, security, and automation projects
- Opportunity to shape how IT support operates and evolves
- Hybrid working, supportive leadership, and a genuinely positive team culture
