We’re looking for an experienced Analytics Manager to lead a small analytics function within a healthcare data environment. This is the most senior analytics role in the organisation, combining hands-on reporting, team leadership, and the opportunity to shape how complex healthcare data is used more strategically.
You’ll manage a team of analysts, oversee regular reporting outputs, and help move the organisation beyond standard reporting into deeper insight, benchmarking, case-mix adjustment, statistical analysis, and outlier identification. The role is expected to be around 60–70% operational and 30% strategic.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a small team of analysts.
- Oversee regular healthcare reporting and analytics outputs.
- Build and improve reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Work with healthcare datasets from the independent sector and NHS.
- Identify opportunities to generate deeper insight from existing and new data sources.
- Support benchmarking, statistical analysis, case-mix adjustment, and outlier analysis.
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytics experience within an NHS setting - private healthcare is a bonus.
- Previous experience leading or managing analysts (career development).
- Strong Power BI experience is a must.
- Good understanding of healthcare data, reporting, and insight generation.
- Ability to turn data into meaningful recommendations, not just reports.
- Strong communication skills and an inquisitive mindset.
- Experience with Python or statistical analysis would be highly beneficial.
Interview Process: The process is expected to involve two stages: a first-stage panel interview, followed by a second-stage in-person panel interview, potentially including a case study or example of relevant analytical work.
This is a strong opportunity for a healthcare analytics professional to take ownership of an established function, develop a team, and influence how data is used to generate more meaningful insight.
