The predicted salary is between 54000 - 66000 £ per year.

I’m looking for an experienced Service Designer to join a public sector delivery team working on complex services where accessibility, inclusion and user needs are genuinely important. This is a hands-on service design role for someone who enjoys taking complex problems, making sense of them and turning them into clear, practical design outcomes.

You’ll be working across:

  • Service design and user-centred design
  • Mapping existing and future service experiences
  • Prototyping and testing new service concepts
  • Designing and facilitating workshops / co-design sessions
  • Synthesising complex information into actionable insights
  • Communicating complex ideas through effective storytelling
  • Balancing technical, business and user needs
  • Designing in line with Government Service Standards
  • Working within Agile multidisciplinary teams

I’d particularly like to speak with people who have:

  • GDS / Government Design System experience
  • Strong accessibility and inclusive design experience
  • Previous public sector / government service design experience
  • Active SC Clearance
