I’m looking for an experienced Service Designer to join a public sector delivery team working on complex services where accessibility, inclusion and user needs are genuinely important. This is a hands-on service design role for someone who enjoys taking complex problems, making sense of them and turning them into clear, practical design outcomes.
You’ll be working across:
- Service design and user-centred design
- Mapping existing and future service experiences
- Prototyping and testing new service concepts
- Designing and facilitating workshops / co-design sessions
- Synthesising complex information into actionable insights
- Communicating complex ideas through effective storytelling
- Balancing technical, business and user needs
- Designing in line with Government Service Standards
- Working within Agile multidisciplinary teams
I’d particularly like to speak with people who have:
- GDS / Government Design System experience
- Strong accessibility and inclusive design experience
- Previous public sector / government service design experience
- Active SC Clearance
