Job Overview
I’m representing a fast-growing UK consultancy based in Newcastle that partners with both public and private sector clients to deliver complex digital transformation projects. They’re known for their collaborative culture, people-first approach, and commitment to building long-term client relationships.
Remote/Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite strongly preferred, but remote will be considered for those who live further away from Newcastle.
The Role
We’re representing a client who is looking for an IT Engineer with a Salesforce focus to join their growing technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has a solid grounding in Salesforce administration and wants to build broader technical expertise with the support of a collaborative IT team.
- Administer, configure, and optimise Salesforce to meet business needs.
- Provide IT support up to 3rd line across hardware, software, and cloud platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver improvements.
- Mentor and guide junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practice.
- Support end users with Salesforce and other IT tools, delivering training where required.
Requirements
Minimum Requirement: Salesforce administrative experience and/or certification
(These are essential – everything else can be developed and upskilled in-role)
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of Apex code and Salesforce integrations (APIs)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, and cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Experience with ITSM platforms and documentation
