Contract Opportunity – SC Cleared Product Manager
Please note: candidates must hold active SC Clearance through their current role, or have held active SC Clearance in recent employment that ended no more than 2–3 weeks ago.
I’m looking to speak with experienced Product Managers for a contract opportunity supporting a major public sector programme with a growing Consultancy working with the Public Sector on Transformation projects. This role would suit someone who is confident shaping product vision, strategy, value propositions and roadmaps, while working closely with delivery teams, senior stakeholders and wider multidisciplinary teams.
The client needs someone who can bring structure to ambiguity, define problem spaces, support early hypotheses, and help embed strong product management practices across complex delivery environments.
Role details:
- Location: Any hub that is closest to you - London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol or Glasgow
- Working pattern: Hybrid – 60% onsite
- Rate: £375/day
- Level/criteria: SFIA Level 4 - PM
- Clearance: Active SC required within current or very recent role
- Client: Major government department
Ideal background:
- Product Management / Product Owner experience in digital or technology environments
- Experience creating product visions, roadmaps, value propositions and product strategies
- Comfortable working across both Agile and traditional delivery approaches
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
- Experience working closely with Delivery Managers and wider project teams
- Able to operate independently across multiple projects and changing priorities
- Public sector, government digital or DWP experience would be beneficial
