TrueNorth are pleased to be supporting an established organisation in their search for a Cloud Operations Engineer to join the team.
The role is a growth role in an established cloud operations team, which will support the organisation\’s day to day business as well as be a key part of their ongoing global IT transformation.
The role will involve:
- Provisioning, Configuring and Maintaining Public Cloud infrastructure resources, including virtual machines, serverless computing, storage, databases, networking, and other cloud services.
- Develop and maintain automation processes and tools for provisioning and configuring cloud resources to streamline cloud operation tasks.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting to proactively identify and resolve potential performance bottlenecks, outages, and service disruptions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
Key skills required:
- Excellent understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and managing cloud environments – Azure is preferred but AWS and GCP are also okay as long as you\’re happy upskilling in Azure
- Experience with infrastructure tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or others.
- Problem solving and excellent communication across technical and non technical audiences.
- The ability to work in a team really well – this organisation prides itself on the teams and culture it has created and works hard to protect it.

- Scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
