TrueNorth are working with a global fintech organisation based in Newcastle who are looking for a Lead System Administrator to join the team. You will report to the Head of IT and operate as the hands-on Lead for the team as well as having a team of 2-3 people reporting into you. It would be great if you’ve had experience leading a team before, but we’re also interested in people that have guided and mentored people, that may be looking for their first step into leadership. It’s a great opportunity to own and shape the day-to-day IT operations for this organisation.
Responsibilities:- Lead hands-on system administration for 3rd line issues; act as the lead for the IT team with 2-3 direct reports.
- Own and shape day-to-day IT operations for the organisation.
- Extensive experience as a hands-on system administrator working with 3rd line issues.
- Windows Server.
- M365 suite of technologies.
- Endpoint configuration and management, including InTune.
- Experience in managing, leading or mentoring team members.
Based in Newcastle City Centre, with onsite parking and good public transport links. Hybrid working with 3 days per week in office.
Salary & benefits:Starting salary up to £60k (heavily dependent on your experience and interview), plus benefits.
