We’re supporting a well-established UK consultancy that specialises in delivering secure, large-scale cloud and data platforms within highly regulated environments. They’re looking to hire an AWS Data Platform Engineer to help design, build, and run robust AWS-native data infrastructure.

This is a permanent role for someone who enjoys working close to complex data ecosystems, automation, and cloud security — and who thrives in collaborative, delivery-focused teams.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services
  • Solid Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform)
  • Experience with orchestration and CI/CD tooling
  • Good scripting skills (Python / SQL / Bash)
  • Strong understanding of AWS security, IAM, and networking
  • Comfortable operating in Agile, delivery-led environments

Key requirements:

  • Active SC Clearance (essential)
  • Permanent role
  • Ideally you will be based around Manchester or London and work hybrid model, but remote is possible for candidates willing to travel to offices or client sites as required.
  • Available immediately (ideal) or up to 2–3 weeks’ notice max

Salary guidance: Mid level: £45k–£60k
