Trueline Products is a well-established, family-owned UK manufacturer with over 30 years’ experience delivering bespoke architectural and construction solutions. As a market leader in sheet metal fabrication and specialist manufacturing, we pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and a fast-paced, commercially focused approach. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Project Surveyor & Estimator. We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including those looking to develop within the role.
This is a varied and hands-on role combining site surveying, estimating, and project coordination, taking projects from initial enquiry through to delivery. You will attend sites across the UK, gather key project information, and use this to develop accurate quotations, drawings and project plans. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of technical, commercial and site-based work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Site Surveys & Project Understanding: Attend customer sites across the UK to carry out surveys and gather accurate project information. Interpret specifications, drawings and tender documentation. Identify project requirements, constraints and risks.
- Estimating & Commercial Responsibility: Prepare accurate quotations based on site surveys, drawings and customer requirements. Assess cost, quality and production feasibility. Ensure quotes are commercially competitive and achievable.
- Design & Technical Coordination: Develop concept designs into practical, buildable solutions. Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications. Liaise with internal design, production and procurement teams.
- Project Coordination: Manage projects from enquiry through to delivery. Monitor timelines and ensure deadlines are met. Raise and track RFIs where required. Communicate any delays, risks or issues. Engage with customers, architects, site managers and stakeholders. Build strong working relationships. Manage expectations around timelines, constraints and delivery.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with production, purchasing and commercial teams. Ensure accurate documentation and system updates. Support continuous improvement and processes.

Essential skills:- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable travelling to sites across the UK
- Comfortable working at height
- Experience in construction, manufacturing or engineering environments
- Experience in surveying, estimating or project coordination roles
- Understanding of fabrication or sheet metal processes
Approx. 2 days per week on site (UK-wide travel). Remaining time split between office (Kidderminster) and home working.
