Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Project Surveyor & Estimator to join our expanding team.

The Role – Project Surveyor & Estimator
This is a varied and hands-on role combining site surveying, estimating, and project coordination, taking projects from initial enquiry through to delivery.
You will attend sites across the UK, gather key project information, and use this to develop accurate quotations, drawings, and project plans.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of technical, commercial, and site-based work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Surveys & Project Understanding
- Attend customer sites across the UK to carry out surveys and gather accurate project information
- Interpret specifications, drawings, and tender documentation
- Identify project requirements, constraints, and risks
- Estimating & Commercial Responsibility
- Prepare accurate quotations based on site surveys, drawings, and customer requirements
- Assess cost, quality, and production feasibility
- Ensure quotes are commercially competitive and achievable
- Design & Technical Coordination
- Develop concept designs into practical, buildable solutions
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Liaise with internal design, production, and procurement teams
- Project Coordination
- Manage projects from enquiry through to delivery
- Monitor timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Raise and track RFIs (requests for information) where required
- Communicate any delays, risks, or issues proactively
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with customers, architects, site managers, and stakeholders
- Build strong working relationships
- Manage expectations around timelines, constraints, and delivery
- Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with production, purchasing, and commercial teams
- Ensure accurate documentation and system updates
- Support continuous improvement and process efficiency
About You

- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders

- Comfortable travelling to sites across the UK

- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering environments
- Experience in surveying, estimating, or project coordination roles
- Understanding of fabrication or sheet metal processes
- Working Pattern
- Approx. 2 days per week on site (UK-wide travel)
- Remaining time split between office (Kidderminster) and home working
- We offer flexible / remote working for this role, with the expectation that you will attend customer sites as required (typically 2 days per week), with the remaining time worked from home or our Kidderminster office.
