We’re expanding the team across our offices in London, Milan, and Dublin. This is TrueLayer's People team is responsible for attracting, engaging and developing some of the best talent. Following a period of growth, we now need to ensure our People processes and systems are optimised to deliver the best employee experience across our global teams. This is where you come in. We’re seeking a People Operations Lead to own and evolve our People Operations function, taking responsibility for all employee lifecycle processes, systems ownership, automation and data integrity. You won’t stop until everything runs like clockwork. The People Ops function needs to support our fast-paced business with lightning processes, speedy automations and delivering the most value to our employees.

What We Expect From You

  • Employee Lifecycle & Operations: Lead the People Operations team in building a slick, efficient function that integrates our systems and automates as many processes as possible. Continuously improve and scale operational frameworks that support growth and a consistent, high-quality employee experience. Balance operational rigour with practical execution, comfortable getting into the detail when needed to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Systems & Technology: Own and optimise our HRIS platform (HiBob), ensuring data integrity, reliability and a seamless user experience. Drive the adoption of AI and automation tools across the team to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency. Lead vendor management for employment-related services including background checks, employers of record, immigration lawyers and HR systems. Document and maintain People processes and systems, creating clear, accessible guides and frameworks.
  • Process Optimisation & Automation: Identify inefficiencies and design simplified, standardised, scalable workflows across the People function. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, building processes in readiness for further scale and responding to business context. Instil a rigorous approach to governance and data quality across the People function, designing manual interventions out of our processes to eliminate risks. Collaborate closely with Finance and Compliance to ensure operational robustness and alignment.
  • Data Integrity, Reporting & Insights: Ensure data accuracy across all People systems and instil a culture of rigorous data input across the team. Dashboard Creation: build dashboards and deliver reporting that provides clear, actionable insights to enable evidence-based decisions across the business. Support the transition to a data-led People function, building integrated reporting that tells the story of what’s happening to our people.
  • Team Leadership: Leading a People Operations Partner, bringing an attitude of continuous learning and improvement.

About You

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience working as a People Operations Lead, within a People/HR Operations team, you have ideas and insights you’re ready to put into play.
  • Strong background working with People Ops systems, HRIS platforms (HiBob is essential). Managing workflows, and a large tooling suite. Automation experience is essential.
  • Experience taking manual processes and improving these through automation. Speeding up delivery through technology and creating sustainable process improvements for a fast-paced team.
  • Analytical and process-minded, always looking for ways to improve and optimise, with excellent data handling skills including G-suite and BI/data visualisation tools is a plus.
  • Super organised with a keen eye for detail, you hate mistakes in processes or data.
  • Project pro, comfortable mapping processes, leading cross-functional work and keeping things on track.
  • A passion for fixing problems and understanding the root causes to build more efficient workflows.
  • An exceptional communicator who can make complex information simple, whether in writing, in conversation or through visuals.
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable and resilient in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
  • Takes full ownership, embraces change and isn’t afraid to experiment with new ideas.
  • Experience working in G Suite and Notion.
  • Deep experience documenting processes and policies, you know what good governance looks like, you can assess risk, and you know how to design for future scale.

  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced technology or fintech company.
  • Extensive working knowledge of HiBob and have managed integrations and automations in this space.
  • A keen interest in AI and automation tools as applied to People operations.
