Working within a technology consultancy, you will bring clients, developers, technical leads, QA specialists and other delivery disciplines together around a clear and achievable plan.
You will be comfortable moving between strategic client conversations and the day-to-day detail required to keep delivery progressing.
This is a hands‑on delivery role, with much of the role centred around helping clients shape requirements, define scope, break features down into clear user stories and tasks, and work with technical teams to produce realistic estimates and delivery plans.
You do not need to have a technical background, but you must be technically curious and confident discussing software, integrations, environments, releases and technical risks.
A key part of the role is bridging the gap between technical teams and non‑technical stakeholders.
Please note . Candidates must reside in the United Kingdom to be eligible for this position
- Lead multiple digital projects and long‑term client engagements through the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and planning through to launch and support.
- Act as a trusted delivery partner, building strong relationships and developing a clear understanding of each client’s objectives, priorities and constraints
- Manage expectations around scope, cost, timescales, dependencies and risk.
- Produce and contribute to Statements of Works and new project proposals.
- Track actual and forecast spend against agreed project budgets. Monitoring team allocation, delivery costs and remaining commercial headroom.
- Scoping, Planning and Release Delivery
- Lead discovery and scoping, turning client objectives and ambiguous requests into clearly defined requirements.
- Break features down into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria that meet the team’s Definition of Ready.
- Translate technical subjects into clear, accessible language for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate client testing and UAT, ensuring feedback is understood, prioritised and resolved.
- Coordinate release planning, including readiness checks, dependencies, downtime, communications and go/no-go decisions.
- Team Leadership and Continuous Improvement
- Create clarity across delivery teams, encouraging ownership, accountability and proactive communication.
- Promote good practices around ticket quality, documentation, decision recording and visibility of work.
- Support the teams and clients in learning from delivery challenges and improving future ways of working.
About You
You are an experienced delivery professional who combines strong organisation and commercial awareness with excellent client and team communication.
You are comfortable operating in situations where not everything is fully defined.
You can ask the right questions, bring structure to ambiguity and help a group reach practical decisions.
You understand that successful consultancy delivery involves balancing client needs, technical constraints, team capacity, quality, budget and commercial commitments.
This is an important role within the business, working closely with some of our largest clients.
We are therefore looking for someone who values spending time with the wider team and can join us in our Saltaire office a couple of days a week.
Being present will enable you to contribute fully to internal conversations, share context with colleagues and help shape how we continue to grow these important client relationships.
