NPD Account Manager – Lancashire – c£55,000 + Car/allowance Overview: This is a brand-new position within the business and has been created to strengthen NPD. It will suit someone who is creative but commercial too. Looking strategically at the products they have and working with the retailer in terms of gaps in their range. This would suit a person who has worked with the major retailers and who wants to expand those relationships. Using your creative skills and looking strategically at what else could go with their current products. The Opportunity. You will work closely with the Senior team in expanding their range of products within all the major retailers and discounters. The role is working on branded and own label products of which both will have a different route to market. Building on the already strong relationships they have with their customers to win their trust and build on the range they already have of theirs in stores. Ideally, you’ll have a relevant degree in food science or nutrition. Alongside this, you should understand the concept to launch process and what this entails each step of the way, along with some commercial experience. What can they offer you? The business is going through a massive amount of positive change, they’re expanding and growing in all departments. There is no red tape here so you can make decisions and use your creative flare. What this means for you, is that there is a lot of scope for you to grow the remit of your role. The base salary is £50,000k – £60,000 depending on experience, this comes with a company car/allowance.
