What will I be doing?
- As Maintenance Manager, you will lead a skilled maintenance team, overseeing daily operations, setting clear goals, and driving a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver training, manage performance, and foster collaboration.
- Implement preventative maintenance strategies, respond swiftly to breakdowns, and ensure efficient coordination with other departments.
- The Engineering Manager will oversee all core systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.
- Conduct audits, enforce procedures, and lead on health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
- Control departmental budgets, manage spare parts inventory, and liaise with suppliers to secure high-quality, cost-effective resources.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, apply root cause analysis, and use performance data to drive improvements.

What we’re looking for:
- A Facilities Manager with a degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience leading a maintenance function within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building services.
- Skilled in the use of CMMS systems and maintenance planning software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A track record of implementing preventative maintenance strategies and managing CAPEX projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Flexible and willing to participate in an on-call rota or out-of-hours support when required.
