This role is to join the building services design team within a highly regarded building services design consultancy. They have a great ethos and high professional standards making them the perfect place for your formative years as an electrical design engineer.
They are responsible for the design of all the mechanical and electrical functions within buildings such as HVAC, lifts, lighting, hot and cold water systems, plant rooms, access control, fire alarm systems and data communications. These functions can be applied to almost every type of building so you could be working on projects in any of the following sectors: commercial, retail, hospitality, industrial and education.
This role will be working within a team alongside senior electrical design engineers, taking on more responsibilities as you develop as an engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior design engineers with the preparation of outline design schemes.
- Visiting site during the construction phase to monitor progress.
- Production of drawings under the direction of Engineers.
- Assisting with the checking of documents.
