Principal or Associate Electrical Design Engineer – (MEP / Building Services) Hertfordshire – Hybrid Working £Consultancy / Construction / MEP / Building Services / Senior Electrical Design Engineer / Associate Electrical Design Engineer / Principal Electrical Design Engineer This role is for a team playing senior electrical design engineer, you will join the MEP team of an established multi-disciplinary consultancy reporting to the electrical director. You’ll be working on complex and high specification design and/or construction projects, creating or upgrading industrial, research, manufacturing process and pharmaceuticals. Projects are based throughout the UK and Europe and there is an emphasis on technically challenging work Detailed design drawings with a specialisation in electrical system design. Preparing specifications and schedules and design development reports. Taking projects through from inception to completion and handover. Undertaking survey work. Attend site progress meetings and review installations. Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams. Preferably a bachelor’s or master’s degree in building services or electrical engineering. Solid electrical design experience in the building services sector.
