This Revit Co-ordinator role is to join a design consultancy specialising in mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) engineering. You will be working closely with a friendly professional team of building services design engineers.

They work on some of the largest and highest profile projects in the industry with leading architects, designers and contractors and have an excellent reputation for delivery, quality and reliability of their services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sketches and concepts into drawing details with understanding of the engineering practices behind them.
  • Produce detailed models to high level of detail.
  • Assist in the development of systems and procedures to ensure that the CAD system is used effectively.
  • Provide guidance and advice to design Engineers on the planning and management of Revit techniques.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of MEP systems
  • Resolve clashes and conflicts within the model to achieve design integration and clash-free MEP installations.
  • Prepare technical schedules.

Experience Required

  • Experience in MEP design, drafting, or coordination within the construction industry
  • Proficiency in BIM software platforms, such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and MEP-specific add-ons.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • A proactive approach to learning and technical development.
