Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services, East Sussex - Hybrid & Flexible Working. £40k - £55k + Benefits.

In this role you will be part of a friendly collaborative consultancy providing innovative design services to a variety of sectors including retail, education and health. Sustainability is at the heart of their designs as is being at the forefront of the latest technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Detailed design drawings with a specialisation in mechanical system design.
  • Preparing technical specifications and schedules and design development reports.
  • Taking projects through from inception to completion and handover.
  • Undertaking survey work.
  • Production of feasibility reports.
  • Attend site progress meetings and review installations.
  • Working closely with other team members.
  • Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams.
  • Taking responsibility for your workload and projects.
Qualifications:
  • You will ideally hold a degree in mechanical or building services engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of design in building services, post qualification completion.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical systems design.
  • A desire to continue your professional development.
