This role is to join an established building services engineers design consultancy, covering a varied range of projects including high end commercial, sport and leisure, education, healthcare and science, and high rise residential. They offer a broad range of consultancy services including but not limited to surveys, feasibility studies, report and advisory work, design, building modelling and thermal simulation, project management, energy advice, BREEAM assessments.
Upon joining you will be a part of a friendly team of professional engineers. Whilst each person has their own responsibilities the culture is very much a collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- This role is a management position overseeing the production of and producing detailed, coordinated service models accurately.
- Collaborating with the MEP team to deliver quality projects to agreed deadlines.
- Advising and guiding on the planning and management of advanced Revit techniques.
- Quality control of models and associated drawings, schedules etc.
- Assisting in the development of systems and procedures.
- Developing sketches and concepts into drawing details with a good understanding of the engineering practices behind them.
- Knowledge of building services (mechanical, electrical and public health systems) is essential.
- In depth knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
- In depth knowledge of BIM project set-up, family creation and COBie data set-up is essential.
- Utilising relevant office project software including Navisworks.
- Ability to establish a good working relationship with team members.
