Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Design / Building Services / MEP / Consultancy / Mechanical Design Engineer / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer / Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer This role is to join an established building services design consultancy who cover a range of project types including education, heritage, offices, hospitals, local authority and data centres. The culture is supportive, and geared towards your ongoing development, offering you exposure to interesting, varied work. The people you will be working alongside are a friendly relaxed team of engineers with collaboration at centre of their culture. Responsibilities * Responsibilities will include involvement in the full cycle of projects from client briefs and planning, though to design and supervision and finally completion. * Developing conceptual & detailed design solutions in line with client’s brief. * Carrying out the detailed mechanical services design and calculations. * Equipment Selection. * Production/writing of mechanical specifications, schedules, reports and technical papers. * Dependent on your experience level you will represent the business alone or attend with a more senior engineer to develop your experience at a wide range of meetings from client, design team and site. Experience & Qualifications * Degree / HND / HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, preferred although not essential * Design experience in mechanical building design systems. * Confident user of a range of design software. * An enthusiasm for continued learning and development
