This role is to join a well-established consultancy, specialising in mechanical, electrical building services design, with a focus on energy strategies and low carbon. Their projects include residential, health care, education, commercial and retail, they have a strong pipeline of projects and a high level of repeat business.
Responsibilities:
- To manage design team and provide electrical engineering support to all electrical engineers
- To carry out electrical design and project management of various types of projects
- Undertaking fee assessments and providing fee bids for projects
- Liaise with clients, providing excellent client care
- Carry out surveys and produce reports
- Carry out quality inspections of projects
- Attend meetings on all aspects of the projects
- Monitor financial aspects of projects
Experience and Qualifications:
- Qualified to at least HNC or Degree Level
- 6 years' experience of electrical design within building services working in a consultancy or a large contractor
- Producing detailed specifications and calculations
- Management of junior staff
- Client Liaison
- UK driving licence is essential
