This is a European role based in Southern Spain for an English speaker. This role is to join an established building services design team, assisting experienced engineers to gain experience and detailed working knowledge of all parts of the construction industry. You will become specialised as an electrical design engineer gaining training and experience to become a fully qualified engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior design engineers with the preparation of outline design schemes.
- Visiting site during the construction phase to monitor progress.
- Production of drawings under the direction of Engineers.
- Assisting with the checking of documents and carry out detailed calculations.
- Learning the latest building regulations and technical standards.
- Undertaking duties to develop your experience and further your training in electrical engineering.
- To gain a comprehensive understanding of Sustainable design approach.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Post graduate qualifications or degree / master’s in electrical engineering.
- Any previous electrical work experience would be beneficial although not essential.
- Learning and communication skills.
