BIM Manager – MEP Portsmouth, Hampshire – Hybrid £45k – £55k Building Services / BIM / Revit / Consultancy / BIM Manager / MEP Our client are specialist M&E Consulting Engineers, they have an excellent reputation for providing tailored innovative and sustainable solutions to their established client base. They are involved in a wide range of projects including schools, office builds, retail, councils and super prime luxury residential. This BIM Manager role will join a team of team of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineers who have experience within a wide range of project sectors, with services installations from £100,000 to over £(phone number removed). Duties & Responsibilities * Be champion of knowledge for all BIM related items. * Have a thorough understanding of BIM and able to work within the parameters and demands of projects. * The ability to execute and deliver projects in a timely manner, be adaptable and independent. * To provide CAD and Revit training to junior CAD operators and young engineers. * Managing a CAD team and your own workload and ensuring projects are completed to high standards. * Identify coordination problems with the model and communicate clearly with the engineering team. * Identify the requirement for resources, to plan and manage work on projects to programmes. * Liaise with external design team members. * Develop and improve internal BIM standards. * Project management and team leadership. * The role will require travelling as and when required for attendance at offsite meetings or site visits. Experience Required * A strong background in BIM and digital construction. * Proficiency in BIM software tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360). * Effective communication skills for leading meetings and resolving project-related issues. * Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of BIM concepts and technologies. * Project Management: Ability to manage BIM processes throughout the project lifecycle. * Software Knowledge: Proficiency in BIM software tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360). * Have previous experience in a multi-disciplinary draughting role (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health services)
