The culture of this business is to support, develop and work in a collaborative way to bring together the different experiences of their engineers to provide the best possible solution for clients. Most of the work will be design for commercial projects, care homes, NHS hospitals (new build and upgrades) and some residential both houses and flats and it must be noted that all design work is done with a focus on sustainability. They have excellent client relationships and benefit from consistent ongoing repeat business. Responsibilities * Work with the clients to establish the brief and follow the project through to the technical fulfilment. * Attend project meetings with all parties including clients and design team members and contractors. * Maintain excellent relationships with clients and take opportunities to develop new clients. * Carry out condition surveys, feasibility studies, report writing etc. * Carry out detailed scheme designs. * Carry out calculations, both manual and by using computer-based systems. * Assist, support and supervise junior design staff. Experience Required * Building Services Degree Electrical Design Degree or other related higher educational qualification (HNC/HND) * Previous work within a building services design role at a level of senior electrical design engineers or above. * Experience should include calculations, drawings, specifications. * Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit * Hold a full UK driving license
