Consultancy/ MEP/ Building Services / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer
This role is to join a national employer with an ambitious building services design team, covering sectors including healthcare, education, transport, commercial, heritage and retail. They provide complex mechanical and electrical solutions whilst focussing on sustainability.
Working alongside other construction professionals such as architects and developers, project managers and major contractors you will create reliable and innovative building services designs.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of a friendly collaborative design team delivering detailed designs on a wide variety of projects.
- Feasibility studies
- Specifications
- On-site supervision
- Management of mechanical services installations
- Overseeing and guiding junior engineers
Experience and Skills Required
- At least 3-5 years mechanical design experience within building services.
- A degree in a relevant subject or accredited building services degree.
- Clear communication skills with a willingness and enthusiasm to continue to learn and evolve
- Experience of design and modelling software would be beneficial – although full training will be provided.
