True are partnering with a market-leading and award-winning specialist business at the forefront of heat networks and building performance, working as both a consultancy and contractor to deliver low-carbon solutions. They combine unmatched real-world performance data with deep technical expertise to help shape industry standards. With on-going works at a hospital retrofit in Milton Keynes, they’re looking to appoint a Site Manager to look after this complex, multi-building upgrade programme, a flagship scheme in NHS decarbonisation. As Site Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of mechanical and electrical works, supervising contractors, managing quality and compliance, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You’ll coordinate subcontractors on site, oversee health & safety, and support the technical and quality assurance processes that underpin successful project delivery. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who is proactive, organised, and comfortable leading multiple packages in a live healthcare environment. You’ll work closely with senior project managers, clients, and engineering teams to ensure high standards and smooth delivery. Site Manager Package: * £65,000 (DOE) * Employee-owned trust benefits * Annual discretionary bonus * 5% matched pension contributions * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays * Full-time role with limited out-of-hours or overnight works * Collaborative, supportive, and flexible working environment * Regular company events, volunteer days, and career development opportunities We’re looking for someone with: * Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical, electrical, building services or construction/project management * SMSTS, Black CSCS/Managers Card, NEBOSH/IOSH certification, First Aid at Work, Fire Marshall * Strong track record supervising MEP contractors and site works, delivering projects safely, on time and within budget * Experience engaging with NHS or similar public sector organisations * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Desirable experience: * Previous experience supervising MEP works on NHS sites * Experience delivering communal heating system upgrades, energy centres, or large-scale district heating projects * Knowledge of district heating design, construction, and operations
