Specialising in data centres, pharma, education, healthcare, and commercial building services, they design HVAC, heat pumps, energy centres, plant rooms, and district heating systems for high-profile clients across the UK and Europe. With headline-making projects such as Centre Parcs resorts, sports stadiums, hotels, and movie studios, this ambitious business is experiencing rapid growth and international expansion, targeting a £400 million turnover by 2030 and looking to double the size of its design team to support this trajectory.
We are recruiting multiple Mechanical Design Engineers at Senior and Principal levels for a permanent, full-time, office-based role in Birmingham.
- Senior Engineer: Take ownership of your own projects from concept to completion, providing guidance and technical support to juniors and graduates, while ensuring high-quality design standards.
- Principal Engineer: Lead complex projects with full responsibility, mentor and manage team members across all levels, build strong client relationships, and drive business growth and project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify mechanical building services including HVAC, heating and cooling, renewable energy systems, plant rooms, and Building Management Systems.
- Produce detailed mechanical designs, layouts, drawings, and reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, sustainable solutions.
- Support junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
What We Offer
- Competitive salaries:
- Senior: £55,000 – £65,000
- Principal: Up to £80,000
